Home Grown: Australian Made Composting Toilets

Did you know that our Clivus Multrum tanks are Australian designed, made and certified? We get questions about this a lot, and it’s important to support Aussie producers so we’re very proud to show off our shiny green badge of honour!

Australia’s quality standards are some of the highest in the world so all goods and services meeting this standard are top-tier. This also means we meet strict business, safety and labour laws; which translates to treating and paying our workers fairly. Plus, money invested in Australian made products means money being circulated back into our economy and of course guarantees more jobs. At the end of the day, you can use your loo comfortably knowing that any Clivus Multrum tank is owned, designed and made by Aussies, for Aussies!

On top of all this good stuff, we’re also very pleased to say that our rotomoulded products have become much more sustainable! Traditional rotomoulding uses gas heating, but our Brisbane based moulders are now using solar-electric heating in a great effort to reduce our carbon footprint. This has been incredibly important to us as our company prides itself on reducing our impact on the environment and ‘treading lightly’.

Here at Ecoflo we want you, the customer, to rest assured that when you purchase one of our products you are supporting a company that is producing to quality standards and promoting sustainability.
