Bulking Agent

Now that your composting toilet is installed and you and your family have started to use it, you will need a bulking agent to help with the composting process. A bulking agent will help to absorb ammonia from urine which will help in reducing odours as well as helping your compost pile break down into a usable top-soil like product.

Best of all, our bulking agent is made from 100% renewable hemp and compressed into a dense brick so you don’t pay for bulky packaging.

Our enzyme products work in two distinct ways. They can be used as a cleaning agent to clean your toilets (remember, don’t use harsh chemicals in your composting toilet or you will kill all the good bacterias in your compost pile) and because it’s made from an enzyme catalyst derived from bacterial fermentation, it actually assists your composting process. This product really is a two-in-one!

One of the quickest ways to give your composting toilet a supercharge start is to use Nature Quick Microbes as soon as you install your composting toilet. Extra Chambers

Depending on the type of composting toilet you have will determine if it might be a good idea to have some spare chambers lying around. If you’re using a self-contained composting toilet like the CM2 CS, the CM LP, HM HP or the Natureloo Classic, it’s always good to have a spare chamber so you’re able to let your compost pile cure once it gets full and have an empty chamber ready to replace it with.

There are lots of other things you can consider buying when you get your composting toilet (like solar power accessories, bigger exhaust fans, etc) but the products listed above are the ones you will be using day to day in your new composting toilet!
